Employees shall follow the working hours and weekly schedule communicated by the Company, subject to applicable law.
Employees must record attendance through the system or procedure prescribed by the Company.
Employees are expected to begin work on time and remain available during scheduled working hours.
Repeated or unexplained lateness may be addressed through counselling or disciplinary procedures, subject to applicable law.
An employee unable to attend work should inform the appropriate manager as early as reasonably possible.
Unauthorised absence may be treated as a policy violation and may lead to appropriate action after considering the circumstances and applicable law.
Leave should normally be requested through the Company's designated process and approved by the authorised manager.
In genuine emergencies, an employee should notify the manager as soon as reasonably practicable.
Leave and working-hour entitlements required by applicable labour laws shall prevail over any inconsistent internal provision.
Company holidays shall be communicated through the applicable annual holiday calendar and shall comply with applicable law.
Where permitted, employees must remain available during agreed working hours, maintain confidentiality and comply with Company IT/security requirements.
Employees must not falsify, manipulate or allow another person to manipulate attendance records.
Managers should apply attendance and leave procedures consistently and fairly.
The Company may amend this policy as required by operational requirements or applicable law.
